Guide: Learn All of Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Bandana Dee's Moves in Return to Dream Land Deluxe

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe is now available on Nintendo Switch, and soon you and your friends will be taking control of either Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, or Bandana Waddle Dee. While Kirby's friends may seem to control the same as the original release of Return to Dream Land, all three characters actually contain extra moves in Deluxe that originate from Star Allies.

In this simple bullet-pointed guide, we will teach you how to use all of Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Bandana Waddle Dee's moves in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe!

*Note to Single Joy-Con Users in Multiplayer: Click the bottom face button for B and the right face button for A*

Meta Knight

Overhead Slash

• Press B

Knight Beam

• Press B while you have full health

Meta Triple Slash

• Press B twice after Overhead Slash

Meta Multithrust

• Press B after Meta Triple Slash

Piercing Slash

• Dash and press B

Knight Spin

• Dash and press B in midair

Meta Chop

• Press B while in midair

Down Thrust

• Hold down on the analog stick and press B while midair

Up Thrust

• Press up on the analog stick and B

Galactic Counter

• Press down on the analog stick, then press B

Meta Spin Slash

• Press down on the analog stick and B at the same time

Mach Tornado

• Press and hold B, then release

Sky Knight Sword

• Hold up on the analog stick, then B

Meta Condor Dive

• Dash and press down with the analog stick and B simultaneously

Shuttle Loop

• Press up and then down with the analog stick, then B

Meta Knight Team Attack

• Have Meta Knight at the bottom of a piggyback and have every player press ZR+ZL and, at the same time, release both triggers.

King Dedede

Hammer

• Press B

Hammer Twirl

• Press down on the analog stick and B

Triple Dedede Hammer

• Hold B and release

Hammer Flip

• Press up on the analog stick and B (move left or right while charging flip to change direction)

Midair Hammer Swing

• Press B midair

Giant Dedede Swing

• Dash and press B

Dedede Hammer Throw

• Dash and press the minus button or the X button

Head Slide

• Press down on the joystick then B while dashing

Super Dedede Jump

• Press down and then up on the joystick, then B

Dedede Team Attack

• Have King Dedede at the bottom of a piggyback and have every player press ZR+ZL and, at the same time, release both triggers.

Bandana Waddle Dee

Spear Thrust

• Press B to attack

Back Thrust

• After pressing B, press left on the joystick, then B

Multispear Thrust

• Press B repeatedly

Waddle Copter

• Press and hold B, then release

Skyward Thrust

• Press up on the joystick, then B

Ground Thrust

• Press down on the joystick, then B

Moon Drop

• Press Down on the joystick, then B midair

Waddle Spear Throw

• Dash, then press B

Waddle Spear Barrage

• Dash and press B repeatedly in midair

Waddle Triple Throw

• Dash and hold B, then release

Waddle Dee Team Attack

• Have Bandana Waddle Dee at the bottom of a piggyback and have every player press ZR+ZL and, at the same time, release both triggers.
