As Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards was released for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service today, a lot of fans noticed in the official release trailer that instead of being rated E (Everyone), the game is now rated T (Teen), due to Blood and Violence being in the game. The blood and violence is referring to the final boss battle with 0² or Zero Two (however you’d like to refer it as). We are not exactly sure why the game had the rating changed due to it being rated ESRB in the past, but everything changes for a reason, I guess!

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards releases on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on the 20th May, 2022.

It’s actually the rating of the whole NSO app. If you go to the ESRB website, Kirby 64 on the switch is actually rated E.
